Format Positioning At Safe Position

This command can be added by right-clicking on the Linear Motion. heading inside “Commands” tab.

When “Safe Home Return” mode is active, MANUSpost first executes “Format Goto Safe Position” command and then the “Format Positioning At Safe Position” command, instead of “Format Motion Linear” or “Format Motion Rapid” commands.

The positioning movements of the cutting tool after safe home return are determined inside this command.

Together with “Format Goto Safe Position”, this command is activated by “Event Linear/Rapid Motion:ref:` and <Command.Type>`.ActionLinearMotion” in it. (Both these two commands are activated with single linear motion line.)

When “Safe Home Return” mode will be active is automatically determined according to the limit values defined in the “Edit” screen of Action Linear Motion..

In this “Edit” screen, 4 different limit values in total are defined.

2 limits for “Rotary Axis 1”, and 2 limits for “Rotary Axis 2”.

The first limit will be used at the beginning of the operations, and the second limit will be used at the mid of the operations.

These limiting parameters are:

1- “Limit Rotary 1 Value For Auto Positioning At Operation Start” parameter.

2- “Limit Rotary 2 Value For Auto Positioning At Operation Start” parameter.

3- “Limit Rotary 1 Value For Auto Positioning At Mid Of Operation” parameter.

4- “Limit Rotary 2 Value For Auto Positioning At Mid Of Operation” parameter.

If the rotary axes changes between two successive movements is less than these values, small angle change situation occurs and “Format Positioning For Small Angle Change” command becomes active.

If the amount of rotation for any of the rotary axes is greater than these values, the small angle change command will not be active. Instead, first “Format Goto Safe Position” and then “Format Positioning At Safe Position” become active.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If there is a tool change at the beginning of the operation, even if a large angle change has occurred, Format Goto Safe Position. will not be active at the beginning of the operation, only Format Positioning At Safe Position. will be active. Because MANUSpost accepts that the tool has reached the safe point during the tool change.
