Event From

It is the event that is activated by the :ref:`FROM<Format Motion From>`. statement in the APT/CL file.

This is a special event developed only for some CAD/CAM programs (eg Catia).

This event includes “ActionLinearMotion” as standard. “ActionLinearMotion” runs one of the linear motion commands depending on the settings in the post processor.
