Event Comment / ActionComment

It is the event that is activated by the lines usually expressed as “DISPLY” in the APT/CL file. This expression may vary in different CAM programs.

The expression next to “DISPLY” is the comment and this comment needs to be printed in the NC program.

This event contains :ref:`ActionComment<Event Comment / ActionComment>`. as standard. However, unlike other standard actions, “ActionComment” does not execute a command. Instead, it automatically prints the comment into the NC program in the right comment format accepted by that NC program.
